My name is Mary Keaton. I am the CEO and founder of Peace of Mind Elder Care Navigators. I began my journey nearly 20 years ago while caring for my father who was diagnosed with dementia. After several years of living with him and having in home caregivers, it was time to find him a new home where he could enjoy quality of life and receive excellent care.  This life experience opened a new chapter for me and I changed my career path. 

My experience has given me the insight to help others that are on the same journey that my family and I were on.  I really have walked the walk. I have worked as an administrator for two home care agencies and two large assisted living/memory care communities. I believe that I have the knowledge, experience and compassion to help others along this path.  My goal is to provide "peace of mind" to families as you navigate through this journey with your loved one.  

Established in 2023

I have helped so many family members and friends over the years to figure out how to help a loved one.  This chapter of life doesn't come with instructions.  I realized in August of 2023 that my personal and professional experience could truly be an asset to others.  I decided to start Peace of Mind, Elder Care Navigators.  I knew that the world is full of families facing this difficult time and they're feeling helpless,  like my family did, many years ago.

​I am a Turlock, CA native, bringing over 22 years of experience as a registered nurse to my work as a Licensed Health, Medicare, Dental,  Vision and hearing  Insurance Advisor.

With a bachelor’s degree in Nursing, I combine my medical expertise with a deep passion for helping others navigate the complexities of insurance. My  philosophy is to care for my clients and their families with the same dedication I would provide for my own family and friends.

Specializing in a wide range of insurance services including: Medicare,  Covered California, Dental,  Hearing and Vision.

​I am a fierce advocate who goes the extra mile to ensure my clients receive the best plans to fit their needs and lifestyle.

I bring 33 years of experience to the role of physical therapy assistant.  My focus is to bring support to my clients and their families through their rehabilitation journey. 

My background includes extensive hands-on practice for mobility training, exercise regimens and home safety suggestions.
 
My compassionate approach and strong communication skills enable me to tailor treatments to individual needs, ensuring clients receive the personalized care required for effective recovery.

I am dedicated to improving client outcomes to reach their goals and to live as independent as possible.

I started working with families in need of senior care after my own experience with my mother.  My Mom had Alzheimer's disease for many years.

I quit my career in sales to become a stay-at-home caregiver for her.  I took care of her for as long as possible and until I could no longer do it alone. 

I needed to find a new home for my Mom, but didn't know where to start.  It was a true period of learning for me.  Once I secured a new loving home for her,

I decided to change careers and looked for something new I found that new career doing what I call "heart work."  I worked as an executive sales manager for several large national companies and helped families navigate the same journey that I had been on years before.

​I do know first hand what families need help with to make critical decisions about care for their loved ones. My personal and professional background make me very prepared to help you during this time of life.
